Our Mission

WCEO promotes community empowerment through accessible outreach, collaborative partnerships, and a phased approach to building sustainable programs that serve Westchester residents where they are.

Why We Exist

Too many families in Westchester face barriers to basic support — food security, recovery resources, and stable community connections. These challenges compound when services are fragmented and hard to access. WCEO exists to bridge those gaps, starting with the outreach and partnerships that make long-term programs possible.

How We Respond

Community Outreach

Direct engagement with residents through food pantry operations, recovery meetings, and neighborhood-level support initiatives.

Collaborative Partnerships

Working with local organizations, faith communities, and agencies to coordinate resources and build a stronger safety net across Westchester.

Capacity Building

Developing the organizational foundation, expertise, and partnerships needed to launch residential, youth, and supportive service programs in the future.

Partnership-First Approach

Everything we do starts with collaboration. We work alongside churches, nonprofits, local agencies, and community leaders to deliver coordinated support — and to build the organizational capacity needed for larger future programs.

Our Initiatives

We start with practical, partnership-driven work and build intentionally toward larger programs over time.

"WCEO treated our no-heat crisis like the emergency it was. They mobilized support, escalated the issue with the right officials, and made sure repairs were completed right away—apartment by apartment. Because of them, seniors in our building felt protected and heard."
